What verification involves
The badge is the product. We protect it.
When you claim your profile, we confirm three things before the Verified badge appears: your identity, your active state medical licensure, and your board certification status. This typically takes 2 to 3 business days. Profiles that cannot be verified remain listed as unclaimed. That rigor is exactly why the badge is worth having.
